The State Historical Museum

The State Historical Museum is the largest Russian historical museum comprising 14 departments and three branches. The main building is only five minutes walk from the Hotel. The Armoury Chamber (Oruzheynaya Palata)

The Armoury Chamber is a part of the Grand Kremlin Palace’s complex. Visitors can see treasures of the Tsars, and Cathedral Square.The museum holdings and exhibitions consist of the precious items preserved for centuries in the tsars’ treasury and the Patriarch’s vestry. Open daily at 10.00 am, 12.00 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. Closed on Thursday.

Arbat

The Arbat is an approximately one-kilometer long pedestrian street in the historical centre of Moscow. It is one of the one of the oldest roads in the city. The famous Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin lived on Arbat Street with his wife, and guests can visit a museum that preserves the house in his honor. Distance from the Hotel - 6 km.

The Cathedral of Christ the Savior

Moscow Metro

Moscow metro is the main public transport system. Moscow Metro is probably the world’s most magnificent subway. The architectural style and the fascinating design of many Metro stations deserve the name of the "Underground Palace". The nearest station to the Hotel is Okhotny Ryad - 50 meters. Vorobyevy Gory (Sparrow hills)

The Vorobyevy Gory or the Sparrow Hills are among most famous sightseeing spots of Moscow. Overlooking the Moskva River and the Moscow State University, the viewing point of the Hills boasts a breathtaking, panoramic view of the city. The point can be reached by public transportation (metro). Sokolnicheskaya direct Metro line connects the National Hotel and the Vorobyevy Gory, the latter is the fifth stop from Okhotny Ryad.
